Birthlight in Russia !!!!

Both Juls and I are privileged to tutor Infant Aquatics for a wonderful Charitable Trust called Birthlight.

Our Friend and Boss : ) I know Francoise would loath to be called Boss ; ) sent us off to Moscow to tutor The part 1 of the Diploma course.

Needless to say we were thrilled!!!!

We enjoyed the sights but also worked hard through our wonderful translator and fellow teacher Katia.

Here are the 7 participants practicing their moves : )

all 7 passed,but the written exam wasn't so much fun ; ) Juls and i are looking forward to going over to do part 2...mmm...in Dec!!!! should be cold!!!

Moscow was very interesting, such varied architecture, isn't this church beautiful.

The Red square,shopping Malls and Basilicas....it was sooo much to take in...

This photo somehow summed up for me the Russian dilema....

All in all a whirlwind trip...5 days and working from 9 to 6 : ) we loved it ,had great fun working together abroad and had a wonderful girly time too....it was so refreshing and such a treat for us both to go away and 'relax'...

Our beautiful Naomi came home for a week, and we loved it!!!!!!

No love, Naomi is your Big Sis, you will have another sis one day, but she will be younger than you.....now, what shall we call her?

mmmm....Naomi!!!!!

right, i think i'll just leave this conversation for another time!

and since i last posted, we have had the addition of a few more lodgers.....

The piggys have arrived!!!

down by the river....

Down by the river, where nobody goes..... the twiggles and the....

boggles live.....

and we, Xiang Xiang, John, Bobby and i, went exploring forBobby's Birthday...

we climbed....

and climbed....

and climbed some more...

until our legs and arms ached...

and when we had done exploring, we looked around, and found,that we had roamed all over, the wonderful world of Bewilderwood : )

My gorgeous Bobby is 19 today!!!!

I love my Bobby, he's a gentle, sensitive, deep thinker sort of guy,

he's generous and kind.

He loves a good chat and is always a good listener....

He is precious to me beyond words....

this is what's been happening : )

a lil update on the homestead....an awful lot of clearing has been done...

and we couldn't have done it without a lot of help from our Friends : )

Everyone has worked their lil socks off, to get us to where we are now....

the most fun was finding this huge inglenook : )

but before we found it, their was a lot of scrapping, chisseling and demolishing to be done...

we all got pretty tired : )

but so worth it, we even had Christmas in that room, then it got too cold : ) it's still not finished....but we are slowly getting there!!!

The two bedrooms on the west side of the house, (we are living in the East side)also had makeovers...

but of course...NOT finished yet....

but we have come a long way

This was the old kitchen on west side, eventually to be the library : )

we've had a lot of fun : )

We discovered another fireplace behind that wall in sitting room 2...

it just needed a bit of work :)

We are also in west roof loft, it's all shaping up...

and of course....the garden, we've been busy there too....

it's been such an awesome journey.....seriously God has provided every step of the way, and we are so Thankful!!!!!

He's brought us so far, and He is leading us step by step, please pray that we stay tuned in...cause...

well you've just had a glimps...it's all rather big...

But then...Greater is He!!!!

ps Mom don't panic, He's got it all under control, and X X is bossing us all around ; )

We gate crashed and i'm so glad we did...

Juls and Colin and their clan took off to Centreparcs, a wonderful restful holliday resort an hour away, and Xiang Xiang and i joined them.....

and we chilled, and swam,and relaxed and ate and had loads of fun : )

we loved it, the girls loved it, it was superb, thank you guys : )
